Pansos, or social climbing, can be connected to the way people view themselves and seek recognition from others. Some people may feel more confident when they receive attention through social connections. However, confidence that depends too much on other people's reactions may become unstable. Social media can make this effect more noticeable because likes, comments, and followers are easy to see. Understanding the connection between pansos and confidence can help people develop a healthier sense of self-worth.
ATTENTION CAN TEMPORARILY BOOST CONFIDENCE
Receiving attention from others can make someone feel noticed and appreciated. When a person gains positive reactions after interacting with popular people, they may feel more confident. Social attention can provide temporary feelings of recognition and acceptance. This can encourage someone to become more active in social situations. However, the effect may not last if the confidence depends only on outside attention.
SOCIAL VALIDATION CAN AFFECT SELF WORTH
People may use likes, comments, or praise as signs that others value them. When these reactions are positive, they may feel good about themselves. Social validation can influence how someone evaluates their own value. If the reactions become negative or decrease, their confidence may also change. This is why personal self-worth should not depend entirely on social approval.
POPULARITY CAN CREATE A FEELING OF ACCEPTANCE
Being associated with popular people can sometimes make someone feel more socially accepted. They may believe that the connection gives them greater recognition among others. A sense of popularity can temporarily increase social confidence. However, this feeling may become weaker when the attention disappears. Genuine confidence is more stable when it comes from personal abilities, values, and achievements.
EXCESSIVE PANSOS CAN CREATE DEPENDENCE
If someone repeatedly seeks attention through other people's popularity, they may become dependent on social recognition. They might feel uncomfortable when they are no longer receiving the same level of attention. Constantly seeking validation can make confidence depend on external reactions. This can create pressure to maintain a certain online image. Over time, the person may find it difficult to feel confident without public attention.
CONFIDENCE CAN COME FROM WITHIN
Healthy confidence does not need to depend on popularity or the approval of others. People can develop confidence by recognizing their abilities, accepting their limitations, and improving their skills. Personal growth can provide a stronger foundation for confidence than temporary social attention. Genuine relationships can also provide support without requiring constant public recognition. Social media can be used positively when it supports self-expression rather than becoming the main source of self-worth.
CONCLUSION
Pansos can affect confidence by providing attention, social validation, and a temporary feeling of acceptance. However, excessive dependence on popularity and public reactions can make confidence unstable. A person's self-worth may change when online attention increases or decreases. Building confidence through personal abilities, values, and genuine relationships can create a healthier foundation. Social recognition can be enjoyable, but it should not become the only source of confidence.
